Don Olsen

Don
Olsen, managing partner with MODgroup, has more than 22 years
marketing communications experience. He has worked in Los Angeles
for ad agencies as well as EMMY Magazine, the official publication of
the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and BACKSTAGE Magazine, a
trade publication for TV commercial production. Don has worked on many national and local accounts such as Hewlett
Packard, Intel, University of Phoenix, Jackson National Life, Pine
Mountain Group (PMG),
California State
Firefighters Association (CSFA) and Kleeman Roebbelen Construction. He has helped
these organizations plan and execute their marketing, public relations
and market research efforts.
In 1987, Don formed OLSENCOMMUNICATIONS to meet the marketing
communication needs of companies looking for new ways to market their
products and services effectively through the intelligent application of
new technologies. He has been actively involved in market research
with many companies in the high tech industry as they look at expanding
their market share and the viability of new product launches. In 1993, when the Internet was in its infancy, Don, in conjunction with
JMCInternetworking, produced the first on-line Internet training
seminars to be offered in northern California to organizations
interested in learning about the online environment and its potential
business applications. He has appeared in such media as

The Sacramento Bee, The San Francisco Chronicle, The Sacramento Business
Journal, KCRA TV Channel 3-Sacramento and National Public
Radio. Don has served as
a faculty member for the University of Phoenix in both their on ground
and online modalities as well as functioning as the Chair for
Undergraduate Business. He has also taught with CSU, Sacramento in the
School of Business and served as the Director of FlexNet for the
University of Phoenix, Northern California Territory. Don holds a
Master's in Communications from Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles
and a Bachelor's in Communications from CSU, Sacramento.

Kirk Davis

Kirk Davis,
partner with MODgroup, has over two decades of experience in the healthcare
and marketing communications industry.
His
extensive background includes in-depth experience in sales, marketing and public relations in
clinical biomedical laboratory services, office automation, workers’
compensation, occupational health, and physical medicine &
rehabilitation. His sales roles have included field sales, local and
regional marketing director positions.
Under the
auspices of public relations, Kirk has been responsible for developing
and implementing marketing plans, directing community relations
programs, coordinating media interaction, creation and development of collateral materials, and the spearheading
of crisis management teams for client organizations. He has also developed and implemented
curriculum for competency training to help train healthcare staff as it
relates to customer service, image building, attitude enhancement,
ethical conduct, and overall image presentation to the public.
Kirk
is a natural public speaker who can
engage any audience with his brand of wit and insight.
He holds a
Bachelor’s in Business and Management along with a Master’s
in Business Administration. Kirk
also serves as practitioner faculty with St. Mary’s College of
California and the University of Phoenix, both in class and online
(undergraduate and graduate).
